Hi, I’m Dianne! I design and craft unique, handcrafted jewellery using sea glass, sea pottery, enamel, and recycled silver.
Sustainability is at the heart of my work, and I love giving new life to these beautiful, natural materials.
My passion for sea glass and other coastal treasures blossomed during my time living by the shores of East Sussex.
Now based in the picturesque countryside of Shropshire, I’ve discovered a true talent for transforming my beachcombing finds into stunning, one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces.
What is sea -glass & sea-pottery ?
Authentic sea glass is formed naturally from shards of broken glass that have been tumbled and shaped by ocean waves over decades. The constant motion smooths the edges and creates its signature frosted appearance.
Genuine sea glass takes between 50 to 100 years to develop fully. I like to think of it as recycling remnants of Victorian history!
Sea pottery, on the other hand, originates from fragments of broken plates, cups, and other ceramics. It was once believed that tossing these pieces into the sea would bring good luck.
